Hello everyone,
I hope you’ve had peaceful weekends?
Now that the joys and agonies of crowdfunding fulfilment are all but over (thanks to all patient backers whose bags went missing first time around), it’s time for Team PLIQO to get on with the old-fashioned business of marketing and sales.
So it is with great pleasure that we can announce that we have our first ‘bricks and mortar’ retail outlet signed up in the UK. The shop in question is the rather excellent Buziness Class (yes, that ‘z’ is deliberate), located in the heart of the City of London, at 117 Newgate St, London EC1A 7AE – just north of famous St. Paul’s Cathedral.
The picture shows an open and closed PLIQO bag in the window, mounted on our first RDU (Retail Display Unit).
Paul Rukin, the co-owner, is proud that his outlet is the last surviving independent retailer of bags and luggage in the City district. Buziness Class stocks some pretty high-end brands, including Tumi, Rimowa, Samsonite and Knomo.
We are obviously delighted to be in such august company – so much so that we are offering all customers who visit in person a FREE powerbank with every purchase of a PLIQO bag.
So if you know of a friend, colleague or family member who might appreciate a PLIQO bag – and wants to ‘try before buying’ – please direct them to Newgate Street and the very knowledgeable owners, Lorraine and Paul.
Wishing you an excellent week,
Patrick and Team PLIQO
